Summer Nights returned in 2015 and ran nightly from June 27 through August 16. Kinetix was scheduled every night at 9 p.m., with a firework display following immediately after. Fridays and Saturdays during the event saw park hours extended to midnight.
History
The dates for Summer Nights 2015 were first confirmed in a press release on November 5, 2014, previewing the event lineup for the year.
Independence Day at the park included some inclement weather, delaying the start of Kinetix and fireworks. Inclement weather was also to blame for the cancellation of the fireworks on July 17, and the park closed early at 9 p.m. on July 24 and 25 due to the forecast. Severe weather issues continued into August, resulting in the park closing early at 10 p.m. on August 1, and keeping the park completely closed on August 3.
