Summer Nights 2010 was scheduled to run June 11 through August 15. Kinetix was added to Summer Nights that year, and continued to perform each season as part of Summer Nights through 2016. Kinetix was a 30 minute show described as bringing together live musicians, singers, dancers and artists from around the world for an original contemporary rock experience. In addition to Kinetix, the event was also advertised as having strobe lights, black lights, music and other special effects on some of the thrill rides, like SheiKra. The carousel even had a disco ball hung up as part of the festivities. On Friday and Saturday evenings, DJs held a Summer Nights Dance Challenge where winners received tickets for Busch Gardens, Adventure Island or SeaWorld Orlando. Juggler Jeff Civillico also performed during Summer Nights.
Guests who wore a Summer Nights shirt purchased in park could get early access to Gwazi Park to grab their seat for Kinetix beginning at 8 p.m.
For Independence Day, a fireworks display was added after Kinetix on July 3 and 4. The park remained open until 10 p.m. on the 3rd, and 9 p.m. on the 4th.
