Bands, Brew & BBQ returned in 2011, starting on February 13 and running on Sundays through March 6. The event once again featured dozens of craft and international beers available for purchase and a headlining concert act.
New for 2011, the park teamed up with outside restaurants who offered some of their customer’s favorite items at tents. Outback brought in their Bloomin’ Onion, Smokey Bones offered smoked wings, Grill Smith tempted tastebuds with their Voodoo Shrimp, and Busch Gardens cooked up their own Amarillo Slow-Smoked Brisket with the park’s special chipotle BBQ sauce, among other dishes like ribs and fire-grilled corn. Sample plates started at $4 and platters at $8.
VIP packages were available, which granted guests priority reserved seating at center stage for the concert, plus a meal. The meal included one entree, choice of one side salad, a side item or dessert, plus a regular size non-alcoholic drink.
Concerts started at 5 p.m. and included:
- February 13 – Montgomery Gentry
- February 20 – Joan Jett & The Blackhearts
- February 27 – The Commodores & The Pointer Sisters
- March 6 – Travis Tritt & The Charlie Daniels Band
