Sifting Sands

Located in the Egypt section of the park, the Sifting Sands play area allowed younger guests to have some fun in the sand while waiting for thrill-seeking guests riding Montu.

Fast Facts:

Close Date: January 3, 2016
Location: Egypt
Replaced by: Serpent’s Snacks

History

The attraction was listed as Sand Dig on a map in 2005.

The final day guests could dig around in Sifting Sands was January 3, 2016. The following day, the entire Egypt section closed temporarily for several weeks for work related to the Cobra’s Curse project. Sifting Sands would be completely removed, and Serpent’s Snacks now occupies the space where the attraction was located.
