The Busch Gardens Tampa Food & Wine Festival is set to return on weekends from March 10 through May 21, 2023.

Event Details

The popular springtime Food & Wine Festival was scheduled to return on Fridays through Sundays, from March 10 through May 21, 2023. The event featured many festival-exclusive food & beverage items, including wines, beers, and cocktails, headline concerts across a number of different genres, and other special entertainment and shopping options.

Concerts

A major draw of the Food & Wine Festival at Busch Gardens Tampa is the concerts, featuring a variety of headline musical acts. For 2023, concerts were scheduled for each Saturday and Sunday throughout the festival, with the addition of one concert on Friday, May 5. Concerts were scheduled for 7 p.m. on Saturdays (plus the one Friday concert) and 6 p.m. on Sundays. VIP Seating Packages were available for each concert. The package included access to the VIP Seating area, access to the VIP Bar, and one beverage certificate redeemable at the VIP Bar. Pricing started at $49.99 depending on the act, and ranged up to $59.99.

History

In early November 2022, the park’s website Events page was updated with a number of 2023 events, including the initial listing for Food & Wine Festival 2023. The update included that the festival would be returning on select dates from March 10 through May 21, 2023.

As part of the Black Friday 2022 Sale launched on November 14, 2022, the park revealed the first several concert acts booked for the festival. Those included:

March 11 – Kansas
March 12 – Maddie and Tae
March 19 – Dustin Lynch
March 26 – Flo Rida
May 7 – El Gran Combo

Several additional concerts were added to the website in the first week of January 2023:

March 25 – Rodney Atkins
April 2 – MacKenzie Porter
April 9 – The Fab Four (Beatles Tribute)
April 15 – 38 Special
April 29 – Hoobastank
May 5 – The Como La Flor Band

By the following week, three more acts were posted:

March 18 – SWV
April 8 – +LIVE+
April 16 – Mitchell Tenpenny

In the first few days of February, three additional acts were added to the lineup:

April 1 – Jeremy Camp
April 22 – Air Supply
April 30 – Walk the Moon

Also at the beginning of February, VIP Seating Packages for all of the announced concerts went on sale.

In the second week of February, Jimmie Allen was added to the lineup for Sunday, April 23, 2023. Several days later, however, his appearance was removed from the lineup.

In the last full week of February, Gabby Barrett was added to the lineup for Sunday, April 23. The menus for all of the festival culinary locations were also posted on the park’s website. Food & beverage sampler lanyards also went on sale.
