Offered on days the park was closed in early 2021, the Ultimate Insider Tour allowed guests to get a behind-the-scenes look at the care for several species.
History
Appearing on the park’s website just after the new year, the Ultimate Insider Tour was one of five new experiences available on Wednesdays the park was closed from January 13 through March 10, 2021. The 3-hour tour was advertised as allowing guests the opportunity to get up close to elephants, giraffes, sloths, penguins, flamingos, and a black rhino.
The price of the tour was $149.99 per person, with pass member discounts applicable. The tour was open to guests ages five and above but was not wheelchair accessible due to uneven surfaces and the need to climb up and down stairs. Guests were asked to meet their tour guide at least 15 minutes before their 1 p.m. start time at the Nairobi Gate near the park entrance.
By early March 2021, the tour was removed from the website.
