Animal Training Tour

Part of limited-timed experiences available on days the park was closed in early 2021, the Animal Training Tour allowed guests to watch training sessions with several species.

History

Appearing on the upgrades page on the park’s website at the very end of December 2020, the new Animal Training Tour was one of five experiences that guests could only enjoy on the Wednesdays the park was closed from January 13 through March 10, 2021.

Guests on the tour could see several exclusive training sessions while the park was closed, including cheetahs, gorillas, lions, and hyenas. Guests also fed giraffes on a special Serengeti Safari.

The two-hour tour was available at 9 a.m. on those Wednesdays, with guests asked to meet at the Nairobi Gate near the park entrance at least 15 minutes earlier. The price was $99.99 per guest, and pass member discounts applied. The tour was open to guests ages five and above but was not wheelchair accessible.

The tour was removed from the website by early March 2021.
